Starting Point & Challenges
Before the project, seven legally independent Gewinnblick GmbHs operated largely autonomously across various locations in Germany — each with its own IT systems and ERP solutions. These heterogeneous system landscapes led to data silos, a lack of standardization, manual processes, and limited transparency. Comparable evaluations and unified, cross-location management were hardly possible. In addition, coordinating and administrating the individual sites required considerable effort.
Prior to the final decision, several ERP systems were evaluated to assess their suitability for Gewinnblick’s specific requirements. Once Odoo was selected, various implementation partners were also reviewed and compared. The company ultimately chose openfellas — a deliberate decision in favor of an experienced and highly competent Odoo Gold Partner with many years of expertise.

Within just twelve months, a unified and scalable system landscape was created, successfully connecting all seven subsidiaries.
